About Me

I am a PhD student in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. I am a research assistant in Secure Embedded Systems (SES) Lab, which is a part of the Center for Embedded Systems for Critical Applications (CESCA). I received my MS and BS degrees in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University and TOBB ETU, respectively.

My current research focus is fault analysis of cryptographic devices. More specifically, I work on designing novel fault attacks, conception/implementation of fault-attack-resistant devices, and vulnerability analysis of cryptographic devices to fault attacks.

My other research interests:

  • Side-Channel Attacks
  • Hardware/Software Codesign
  • Electronic Design Automation
  • Computer Arithmetic
